Korntex Ranked Among the Top 35% Worldwide in Sustainability Ranking
EcoVadis evaluates companies on the basis of four central criteria: Environment, Labor and Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Purchasing Practices. These criteria enable a comprehensive assessment of a company's sustainability strategy and practices. EcoVadis uses an objective and transparent methodology based on international standards such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the United Nations Global Compact and ISO 26000.
1. Environment:
The rating in this area takes into account how well a company controls its environmental impact, including energy consumption, waste management and the reduction of CO2 emissions.
2. Labor and Human Rights:
This examines how a company protects the rights of its employees, offers fair working conditions and takes measures to prevent child labor and discrimination.
3. Ethics:
Companies are assessed on the transparency of their business practices, particularly with regard to anti-corruption measures, fair business practices and trust in their business partners.
4. Sustainable Purchasing Practices:
This area is about how companies in their supply chain ensure that their suppliers comply with sustainable practices.
This comprehensive assessment helps companies to recognize their weaknesses and improve their sustainability strategies.
